“It was the scariest thing I’d ever done in my life. And I had done a lot of scary things. I knew I wanted to move. I knew I was meant for more. And I knew that my success in this one year was just the tip of the iceberg and that the place I was living literally and energetically no longer supported my bigness.” - Tricia Brouk, Executive Producer of Speakers Who Dare and The Art Of The Big Talk
Too often, we are the ones responsible for creating our own greatest limitations. So many of our dreams never see the light of day because we allow ourselves to become wrapped up in the logistical details of “How?” instead of simply saying “Yes” and trusting in our own abilities.
This kind of linear thinking prevents us from reaching our full potential because we become obsessed with questions like:
How will I get the money?
How do I know if it will work?
How will I get from Point A to Point B?
“How” questions are inherently limiting because they require answers rooted in absolute certainty; a scarcity mindset wants to know EXACTLY how something will turn out because it fears failure… when in reality, it’s impossible to really know anything until you try.
I’d love to hear from you: What’s something you’ve been wanting to say “YES” to but have been too afraid to give the green light to? What’s holding you back & how can I support you?
In this week’s Global League of Women Podcast, I spoke with Tricia Brouk, Executive Producer of Speakers Who Dare and TEDxLincolnSquare on The Power of Saying “Yes” and the notion of Limitless Abundance.
In This Episode, You Will Learn:
Why saying “Yes” to yourself is a form of self-love
How to tap into your limitless creativity and potential
How to overcome the fear of public speaking
Why leaving a legacy can be done with or without having children
